WOOOOHOOOO! We're on the home stretch now and another pound off - a good way to start the last week of the challenge. I don't know what took it so long - but there it is gone! It was a long workout today, concentrating on back and hamstirings but starting with a shoulder series and ending with an ab series. Feeling quite tired this evening so I'm going to go and enjoy the ED compliant chicken casserole my lovely husband has prepared, watch a little TV and go to bed. I've written my clients' programmes for the week and I see my first one at 6:30 tomorrow morning. So, until tomorrow.....BE YOUR BEST!

Apologies for the tardiness of my post -yesterday was just "one of those days" and I just didn't make it! I did, however, manage to get my photos taken and do my measurements so I've not missed a day. Things are a bit up and down again with the measurements, also I had a clean complex carb day today as part of the carb cycling I'm doing. It's very hard to explain but when I'm not having the carbs (obviously, I'm still getting them via my veggies - I'm just not having potatoes, rice, bread (rye), etc.) even though I'm eating to feel satisfied so I'm not actually hungry I feel "empty". I really noticed this today when I had a couple of slices of rye bread - I felt full but not in a stuffed or bloated way.......weird! Give it a go and see what you think.

Here we are gain! Measurments still fairly stable. Today's workout was a good one - chest, arms and shoulders. I'm definately getting stronger, lifting, pulling and pushing heavier weights for more reps and sets my endurance on the high rep sets has improved a huge amount - it's good to see that something is working even if I'm not getting the results I'd like on the scales and tape measure. Just waiting to see what the Eveil Genius has in store for us tomorrow.......EEEEK!

Here we are at day 18 - I can hardly belive we only have another 10 days to go!
Today was another rest day - we had one on day 16 - and this was our last rest day until the end. I actually missed the workout today....I must be losing it! When I'm in the gym I can see a lot more definition in my arms and shoulders - it just doesn't show up in the photos - BOOOOO!
As you can see, no great changes in my stats and I can't belive that my weight STILL hasn't changed!!!! It's never been this static before - really wierd.

Well, here we are at the half way point of the challenge. As you can see, not much difference in my measurements - I can't belive my weight just won't budge (up or down)! To be honest, after the initial changes in the first week I was hoping to have seen some more changes in the second week, but maybe the carb cycling that I've started will make a difference, here' hoping. Having said that, I must just reiterate that I FEEL fantastic (I just wish my pictures looked fantastic!), I feel strong and alive and I'm soooo enjoying the workouts - yes, it's true!

Everything seems to have come to a standstill - especially my weight, which just won't budge. So, from Sunday I'm going to make some changes to my diet. I will report back on this in due course.
Today's workout was short - but not particularly sweet.....suffice it to say that I think laughing, coughing and sneezing will be painful the next couple of days!

As you can see, things are really settling down now - it would be nice to see my weight drop some more though. It was arms and chest today - directly after the workout my arms felt really pumped but totally pathetic...it was a very strange feeling! Now, however, they just feel totally pathetic! I'm looking forward to see what we have for tomorrow - I really can't belive how much I'm enjoying this....as I may have said before I may not look that different (and I apologise about the horrendous pictures) but I'm feeling GREAT!
